New Lion Released in Collaboration with WWF

Leona

Another beloved feline by Lisa Larson is now being released – a lioness in ceramic. Over the past four years, one figurine has been launched annually: Greta the tigress, an elephant mother with calf, a rhinoceros, and a leopard. The collaboration between WWF and Lisa Larson has a long history, dating back to the 1970s when the series Endangered Spieces was first introduced.

New documentary film
Farmors leriga händer
In a personal documentary, granddaughter and director Emilia Ekman Larson explores her grandmother’s art and life. Previously unseen works raise questions about the unspoken aspects of Lisa’s creative process – grief and the silent language of her ceramics. The film becomes a story of legacy, creativity, and the need for self-expression. It is in Swedish and runs for 90 minutes.
